Description The first version of the OHS 1994 questionnaire was obtained by DataFirst from the South African Data Archive (SADA). SADA had retyped the questionnaire and in the process the race codes listed in Section 2.1 of the questionnaire had been accidently transposed.
Datafirst obtained a scanned copy of the original questionnaire from Statistics South Africa to replace the SADA copy, and this scanned copy is version 2.

Version 1 race codes:
1 = Asian
2 = Black
3 = Coloured
4 = White

Version 2 race codes (correct version downloadable from this site):
1 = Asian
2 = Coloured
3 = White
4 = Black
